Wednesday, Day Four:
We played a little game at dinner tonight - over pasta at Sol Obriens next to the resort. Wes asked the question,"What was your favorite moment of the day?" (other than the service at supper)
Dave: Early morning fishing by the pond on the golf course (brown Trout, rainbow trout, scuba diver - all the same to Fisher guy)
Nancy: Scones and coffee by the river in Kilkenny . . . And the end of each car ride!
Sandy: The Butler castle in Kilkenny - imagining how they lived . . .
Wes: The relaxing morning at the hotel - the swim, hot tub, sauna, buffet breakfast, walk around the course. . . And the nap!
Pam: The two beautiful walks . . . The first alone, the second with Nancy, Sandy, Wes . . . Incredible countryside!
Sandra: The tour guide in the blue room at the castle . . . Until Wes and Sandy told me she farted in the middle of her talk!
All in all, a marvelous day! Not sure how we are going to top our two days here, but looking forward to what adventures await to the west . . . Killarney here we come!!
BONUS QUESTION: Guess what Wes is doing in picture #1?!
Peeing or adjusting himself probably.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're having a great time. Keep it up. Also are Cailin and I the only ones hat know about this blog or are we just the best?
ReplyDeleteI noticed Wes in picture 1 right away... Bren and I had a good laugh at that one!
ReplyDeleteLoving the blog... It's kind of like our own personal reality show hahaha and gives us something to look forward to everyday!
Bren and I are here at Kate's soccer game (they are ahead 3-2) so this came at a perfect time!
Nothing like forced couples pictures! Love it. You all look pretty damn happy and no surprise there, the pictures are making it look awfully nice. My favorite picture still has to be the big group shot from a past post where everyone is leaning just a little to one side, looks like you were on a boat or something! Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteIf Dad isn't taking a leak against that ancient stone wall while everyone stands around I'd be surprised. Sure am glad he's leaving his mark on the homeland!
Thanks to Brendan for calling us out on the lack of posts, I've been following along religiously but this commenting process is friggin' complicated, I'm sure not sure if it's going to work! Here goes nothing.
Thanks for keeping us all in the loop, gang. Looks unbelievable so far.
Well after Cailin, Brendan and Katie literally called me out for not posting I joined Google to help the Irish Rovers gain some street cred!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the blog and I will make sure Eryn and Jacquie know about it too... I'm just that thoughtful!!
Great idea with the favorite moment game, gives us a nice picture of what is really happening over there!!
Can't wait to see what Killarney brings!
Still think Wes is on the prowl for his next victim of "pull my finger"
