Tuesday, Day Three:
Oh Danny Friggin' Boy!!! The Sheridans have landed.  . . And in style!!
From the revolutionary streets of Beantown to the Irish opulence of the Heritage Golf and Spa Resort, it has been a memorable 24 hours.
It began with the Atlantic crossing - smooth and non-eventful, other than a poor choice made in
watching Warm Bodies ( time I will never retrieve).
Our eternal thanks go to Sandy and Nancy - without them we would never have been three hours early for flight time and would have missed out on the now famous $104.00 bar tab at the airport Durgin!! Hmmmm,  maybe the nasty guy sitting in front of them was a bit of shick shinny!
So we flew, we slept (?), we met Steve the car rental tourguide, we discovered down town Dublin while we searched for grass in a concrete jungle - determined to fulfill Jon's prerscription for grounding ourselves in the Irish time zone (except for one - you know who you are).
Then it was pub lunch and off to Trinity College for a tour with Kalehla, a visit with the Book of Kells, and a walk through the long room library.  .  . Exquisite.
Nothing could top the afternoon.  . . Except Wes mastering right wheel driving and the discovery that Groupon booked us into Irish heaven!!
Supper just consumed at the"Clubhouse" - six for six perfect meals!!
What will DayFour bring?!

  3. Looks like you're having fun! Nothing wrong with getting to the airport on time at least you could get a little drunk before.

  4. Nice picture of Dad and Sandy! Grounding was a genius idea! Bet a certain someone was regretting not grounding later when you were drinking all of the Irish beer!!!
